    Hi,

I would like to create a radarchart. I’ve got 8 measures on 8 different variables which I would like to show through a radar chart. However, when running the extension I can only add one measure while I want to add 8. Same with the axis. Anyone know how to solve or prevent this?

    Hello Jesse,

I order to display multiple measures of variables in the radar chart you should pivot your data so you have seperate columns for your categories and your axes and a column with the measure value for this combination of category and axis. Make sure to normalize your measures with regards to eachother because you will want to compare them within the radar chart.

Here you can see that for every segment + category combination i have a measure value that i plot in the radar chart

    Hope this helps,

    Tjalling

    Hi Tjalling,

Thanks for the explanation. Is there another way to create the chart without pivoting the data? Because the variables I use are calculated fields within Tableau and therefore I can’t pivot them because it only contains meaningfull data at the visualisations.

If not I’m also having trouble with computing my radarchart with pivoted data. I dont know how to add a screenshot but the extension puts my variables in alphabetical order but I want to have a fixed order. It also adds the first two variables a second time to make it a 10 variable radar chart instead of 8. Is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks again,
    Jesse

I’m afraid that this is currently not possible.

This sounds like bugs in the radar chart/show me more, i send you an email requesting more details

    Regards,
    Tjalling
